High Capacity 24GHz backbone

The need for bandwidth is always increasing we in the process of building a high capacity 24GHz backbone to compliment our lower frequency licensed backbone, this will give us a combined capacity of over 1Gbps into the Southern Gold Coast / Northern NSW region. This capacity will enable us to deliver the next generation of […]

Drone flight above Springbrook Tower

We were recently working at the Axicom radio tower on Springbrook, installing some new equipment and figured it’d be handy to have up to date photos of our install and the other equipment on the tower. What better way to take these than with a drone. Click here for link to youtube

Orthomode Transducer (OMT)

We have a range of corporate plans where we offer dedicated, licensed, true unlimited internet or private layer 2 services. Two customers happened to be a few hundred meters away from each other, at a distance of 17Kms. So instead of putting up two antennas we used an OMT on the back of a dual […]

Rapid Deployment Broadband

Wires has spent years building solar powered broadband relays, now we’ve decided to take that technology pack it in an easily transportable trailer. This will allow us to connect remote clients in hours with speeds up to 50Mbit in ideal conditions. We got a custom made aluminium trailer with heavy duty supports. Then constructed an […]
