Last week we finished building the Springfield Transmission site, located on the roof of an 11 storey office building in Springfield Central.
The site provides extensive coverage of the surrounding area, we can now offer high speed broadand services to residents and businesses in the surrounding region.
The site is directly opposite a major data centre, so we had a multi-core fiberoptic installed, giving us limitless expansion of backhaul capacity.
This site also has direct line of sight to our Wolfdene transmitter above Ormeau / Yatla, the next project will be linking the two.
This is one of our first ever transmitter sites, we’ve finally got around to doing a full rebuild.
It’s now a 3.6Ghz Licensed backhaul to with two access points, 2GHz & 5GHz for local customer access.
We have just finished upgrading our Cumbalum site, WDSL3 (up to 30Mbit/5Mbit) services are now available in Skennars Head, East Ballina, Ballina, West Ballina, Cumbalum, and everywhere in between.
Free upgrades for existing customers, contitions apply.
Last week we built two new transmitter sites, the first in the Port Macquarie CBD, the second on a mountain range 22km to the west.
The two sites provide extensive coverage throughout the reigon, and allow us to deliver very high quality business grade services.
Due to the success of our business products, we have begun expanding our network.
This installation consists of redundant fibre feeds and two GPS syncronised sectors.
The access point is on top of TransAct House in Dickson and will cover approximately 30 Km radius, line of sight.
This year we have been asked to supply even more bandwidth to the remote festival.
To achieve this we have used two of our rapid deployment telco trailers.
Set of AirFiber 5’s at 300Mbit Full Duplex and a set of AirFiber 24’s at 750Mbit Full Duplex.
In the event a customer is outside our coverage area, we may be able to install a small solar powered relay to extend the coverage.
Here is a good example of how one is built.
Concrete in the support pole
Enclosure and antenna mount
Solar Controller, Battery and Circuit Breakers.
Antennas and Lunch before programming and testing.
Seems fairly logical that the more gear you install at a site the more power it’ll need.
This site supports our high capacity backhaul between QLD and NSW networks and a cluster of sectors for local access.
The system installed is actually 2 x standalone 1Kw systems combined using a diode.
As close as you can get to a fully redundant system.
New high speed transmitter for the Pottsville area.
We are busy rolling out the next generation of fixed wireless infrastructure and will soon offering plans with more speed and allowance.
A few customers on selected business plans are already enjoying the faster service.
We can now offer business or residential services up to 30Mbit.
